SAVED INFORMATION AND SITE REQUESTS
Know where your entries go before saving or sharing.
Planning information can stay in this browser, travel in a copied link or become a separate printed/downloaded copy. Visiting pages also makes requests to the host and other services. These are different kinds of information.

What each planning tool keeps
| Tool or record | Where the information lives |
|---|---|
| Group plan | Choices and entered amounts are in its page address. A copied plan link carries those values. |
| Trip-notes worksheet | The text you enter is saved by this browser on this device. Sending the worksheet’s ordinary page address does not share the notes. |
| Preparation checklist | Ticks stay in this browser. Its copy-link control shares outing and equipment choices, not the ticks. The link can also retain a selected trip, date or budget already in the page address; review it before sharing. |
| Saved comparison | Up to four trip identifiers stay in this browser. A comparison link carries the selected identifiers so someone else can open those records. |
| Business tools and editable worksheets | Entries stay in the open page session. Use the available print or download controls before leaving or reloading to keep the work. |
Browser-saved notes, ticks and comparison choices do not automatically appear on another device or get sent to a provider. Someone else using the same browser may be able to read them. Leave out sensitive personal or booking information.
Printing or downloading creates a separate copy. Later edits on the site do not update that copy. None of these actions makes a reservation or sends a plan to a captain.
What a shared link exposes
The group planner puts the water choice, group size, preferred date, selected trip, equipment choices and entered amounts in the URL, meaning the page address. It does not ask for names, contact details or free-text notes. Anyone with the link can read its choices and amounts and make their own version.
Copy a new link after changing the plan; an earlier link keeps its old values. A comparison link similarly retains its selection, but opens the trip records as they exist when read, not an archived price or booking. Do not add personal details to a page address.
A link may remain in browser history, messages and hosting request logs. Clearing this browser’s storage does not recall links someone already has. Use the separate notes worksheet for text you need to keep locally, while remembering that this browser may be shared with other people.
How to keep or remove your copies
Use the tool’s own print, download or copy control for the record it offers. In browser settings, clear this website’s stored/site data to remove the local shortlist, checklist ticks and trip notes. The setting’s name varies; clearing site data may also remove cached public weather responses, local click records and older drafts.
“Clear and start again” on the notes worksheet blanks its saved entries. “Start a fresh plan” in the group planner starts new page-address choices; it does not clear the separate notes, checklist or shortlist.
Browser clearing does not delete downloaded files, printed pages, links already shared, provider records or information already received by outside services. Manage those copies or requests with the place that holds them.
Requests made when you open a page
The hosting service receives a request for the page. It may process an IP address, the network address used for the connection, browser information and request/error logs needed to run and secure the site. A page address containing plan choices may appear in those requests and logs.
The planning tools do not require a customer account, and this site does not collect booking payments. Clicking an external source or provider link starts a separate visit with that service’s practices.
Weather and water requests
The conditions page requests public forecasts and measurements for its fixed listed areas. When served as prebuilt pages, your browser connects directly to the National Weather Service, NOAA and the U.S. Geological Survey. Those services receive connection information such as your IP address. The requests omit cookies and the referring-page information; public responses may be stored on your device for reuse.
When the site runs through its server, that server can request the data instead. Neither version adds planner dates, group size, amounts or notes to these public-data requests.
Federal-document requests in the business library
The federal-updates panel requests public documents from the Federal Register for its predefined subject choices. These browser requests omit cookies and referring-page information. They use fixed public search terms and date ranges, not your business-tool answers, financial entries or trip notes.
The panel can reuse responses in the open page session. As with other external requests, connecting to the service still provides network information such as an IP address. This is separate from submitting an application or sending a business plan.
Provider links and referral labels
A provider or source link opens another website with its own privacy, cookie and booking practices. Read its notices before entering personal or payment information.
Some outgoing addresses include this site’s name and a fixed page-category label. Those labels indicate the referral source; they do not contain planner answers, amounts, contact details or notes, and do not by themselves mean the link is paid. Existing protected partner links retain their agreed tracking. A paid provider link has a disclosure beside its button.
A browser click record and an analytics event are separate
A provider-button click can create a local record containing this site’s trip identifier, source page path and time. Up to 100 are kept in this browser. That local record is not itself sent to us or a remote analytics service, and it records a click rather than an inquiry or booking.
The published site can separately send an analytics event for the same action. Keeping one local record does not mean the click has no other measurement; the configured analytics behavior is described below.
Google Analytics and the site’s configured events
The published site is configured to use Google Analytics 4 for page visits and activity. Analytics uses cookies and processes technical browser, device and activity information. This integration loads only on a hostname allowed by the configured public-site address; unmatched local-development and preview hosts do not load it.
The site’s page-view integration removes the parts after a question mark or hash sign and groups shared-plan pages under a generic page name. Its configured page/link events do not send planner amounts, preferred dates, worksheet notes or contact details as custom fields.
Link events distinguish internal navigation, external source/provider links and email/phone-link clicks. They use the source page and destination website/path without query values, plus a known trip/provider identifier where applicable. The configured events exclude link text, email addresses and phone numbers. A recorded click is not a completed booking or earned commission.
Business-tool events identify a tool and one of three actions: “started,” “completed” or “exported.” The event handler does not read field values, totals, notes or downloaded text. “Completed” means a result appeared, not an approved business or application. This site’s tag sets Google Signals and advertising-personalization flags to off.
Google handles analytics information under its own privacy policy and provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported collection. The page/link descriptions above concern this site’s integration rather than every practice of an outside service.
Contact email and changes to this notice
If you email info@louisianadeepseafishing.com, your email provider and the site’s mailbox service process the message and contents. We use them to review or respond to the inquiry. Keep passwords, payment details and booking identity documents out of messages to the site team.
The site has no customer account database, on-site payment processing or advertising scripts. Changes to services or collection would need to be reflected here. For a question about the website’s information, contact the site team; use the provider for its own reservation or account records.
