# Twelve-month startup action calendar

Schedule dependencies and carrying costs without promising an agency or repair completion date.

Original Louisiana Deep Sea Fishing planning worksheet. Prepared October 22, 2026. Editable example, not an official agency form, contract, legal opinion, inspection or certification. No signup is required.

Prepared by: __________ Planning date: __________ Version: __________

## Set the milestone sequence

- Planning period and intended service: __________

- Current blocking decision and responsible source: __________

- Work that can proceed before this gate closes: __________

## Repeat for each of twelve months

- Month and evidence milestone: __________

- Owner, prerequisite and next review date: __________

- Cash outflow committed this month: __________

- Expected delay and effect on the next milestone: __________

## Release and pause decisions

- Conditions required before boat purchase: __________

- Conditions required before advertising availability: __________

- Conditions required before first paid departure: __________

## How to use this record

Do not label an estimated submission date as an issued credential or permit. Keep repair and agency lead times as assumptions until confirmed. If one dependency moves, update the spending schedule and customer offer as well as the calendar.

Keep confirmed facts, estimates and unknowns distinct. For a requirement record the responsible source, checked date, supporting evidence and next action. Retain private financial, identity and personnel documents securely; do not put them into public URLs or analytics.

Before acting, verify changing requirements with the responsible agency and obtain qualified advice for the actual operation. This document does not submit an application or establish that any requirement is satisfied.

## Dependency coding and delay response

Mark each task:

- B: blocking dependency for a defined decision/product.
- P: preparatory work that may proceed without assuming approval.
- O: optional improvement.

For each B item, record the exact evidence that closes it, not a planned submission date. For each P item, confirm it does not commit the business to an unresolved boat, permission or service.

## Illustrative sequence, not a promised launch schedule

Research the product and role; assemble credential/service evidence; investigate vessel/passenger and fishery feasibility; compare vessel/access and insurance terms; validate capital and downside cash; organize business and operating records; rehearse booking, guest and vessel handoffs; open only the supported lawful service.

- Dependency that moved: __________
- Revised cash/payment date: __________
- Other tasks affected and work that can continue: __________
- Customer/public-offer change needed: __________
- Next evidence review, owner and date: __________

Agency, repair and training processes determine their actual duration. Keep a spending calendar aligned with the milestone calendar.
